"By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency."
Cape Diamond Exchange shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. Delivery Policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 4 working days and delivery confirmed by way of email
that includes tracking number of a shipment and will mention the courier used and associated costs (if applicable.)

Cape Diamond Exchange is using DHL as the regular courier internationally and RAM within South Africa.

Cape Diamond Exchange makes every effort to get your order to you as soon as possible and will endeavor to ensure you receive it on or
before the estimated delivery date.

If you need your item for a specific date please do let us know, and we will do everything we can to ensure that you receive your item
on the specified date.

At Cape Diamond Exchange we understand that jewelry is often given for special surprise occasions such as an engagement or a b-day.
Please let us know what we can do to make sure you maintain your surprise.

Most shipments within South Africa will arrive within two to five business days, International shipping may vary and the customs process
in each country may vary and often packages may be held longer.

For your protection, Cape Diamond Exchange insures all orders for their full value during transit. Infrequently, there may be a delay
due to customs procedure.

Cape Diamond Exchange ships all orders over with "signature required" upon delivery.

Shipping Policy
For your protection, Cape Diamond Exchange insures and registers all items for their full value.

International shipments can be processed online. Customs processes and import duties are the responsibility of the customer; please
check with your local customs office for information.

Cape Diamond Exchange is committed to timely delivery for your order. However, delivery delays due to inclement weather conditions,
carrier delays or incorrect addresses are beyond our control.

DHL requires that all deliveries are made to a physical address home or business only. DHL does not ship to P.O. box addresses.

DHL requires an adult to sign for the delivery of orders.

Please open the package in front of the driver to ensure the content matches exactly the commercial invoice.

On the rare occasion that your order is tampered with please take pictures and report it to Cape Diamond Exchange immediately.
Same applies to a rare case when a shipment is lost. Cape Diamond Exchange will then report it to DHL to open an investigation.

International Shipping
We ship to most countries in the world.

We unfortunately cannot deliver to a P.O. Box address.

Please note that from time to time parcels may get held in customs. Any delay caused is beyond our control.

When making custom-made orders, time from order to delivery will vary depending on the item ordered.

Some orders may arrive earlier than the expected delivery date if they are ready. You will receive an email confirmation once
your order ships.

Shipments sent outside South Africa be subject to import duties, taxes, and admin fees which may be levied once a shipment reaches
your country.

For details of Customs charges please consult your own Customs authorities for the latest rates.

Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of
the circumstances.

Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Cape Diamond Exchange is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability,
Cape Diamond Exchange will refund the client in full within 15 days.

Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5% administration and restocking fee.

At Cape Diamond Exchange we take pride that our jewellry is produced with a high standard of quality.
However, it could be that some items are not as one envisioned it to be, making you unsatisfied.

You can return your jewellry item within 14 days of receiving the shipment.

Due to some item having a personalized nature, the following orders are nonreturnable:
♦ items that have been modified
♦ engraved
♦ resized
♦ items that have previously been exchanged;
♦ custom designed jewellery
♦ reduced items (products that received a discount) on the website

Please note: Returned items must be in their original, unscratched, unworn condition and accompanied by all original
documentation, boxes, packages and certificates in order for the items to be accepted back.


Our Jewellery will carry a tag. Items must have the tag still attached to the item to be refunded or exchanged.

In case a third party jeweller attempts to work on any piece of Cape Diamond Exchange, the 14 days return policy is cancelled.

Procedure for Returning
1. Please give us a call at +27 21 422 2350, or email us info@capediamondexchange.com quoting your order number.
2. All requests for returns must be in writing via email – info@capediamondexchange.com
3. Obtain the Return Shipping Authorization Code.
4. Shipping Authorization Code is active for 7 days only.
5. Packing your order: For all returns and exchanges the tag on the item must be intact. Please include all original packaging
and accompanying materials, including the packing slip and all diamond certificates
a R1000 replacement fee per certificate will be charged otherwise).
6. Shipment and Insurance: for security reasons we recommend "double box" your shipment and follow these instructions.
Enclose your item inside its original ring/jewelry box. We request using the original packaging from your order.
Please include the ring/jewelry box inside a small box and seal it.
Place the small box inside a medium box and seal it. Affix the label to the outside of the larger box that is being provided by the courier service.
7. For security reasons, do not write jewelry, diamonds or other related words anywhere on the package.
8. We recommend that you send your parcel back to us selecting a courier or postal service that includes insurance,
as Cape Diamond Exchange cannot be liable for loss or damage of return shipments.
We advise that you retain all proof of posting documentation should you need to make a claim.
If your courier cannot provide insurance to the value of your goods, we recommend using DHL for international and RAM within South Africa.
9. For your protection, please ship your item fully insured, signature required, and request a return receipt for confirmation
that your shipment has reached Cape Diamond Exchange. Cape Diamond Exchange is not responsible for items lost or damaged while shipping.
10. Obtain a receipt to confirm that the item has been shipped - this receipt should reflect proof of insurance.
11. Email us the receipt reflecting clearly the tracking number.

Procedure for Refund

1. All requests for refunds must be in writing via email – info@capediamondexchange.com
2. Shipping arrangements done, per the policy "Procedure of Returning"
3. Return shipping authorizations are active for seven days from the date of issue and packages must be shipped during
the active time period of your return shipping authorization.
4. After we receive the returned order, our Quality Assurance will inspect and verify the condition of the item.
5. Item must have the original tag attached to it. All original boxes and packages documents and certificates must be
received for the item to be accepted back.
Any returns showing signs of wear; who do not carry our tag or those that have been engraved, altered, resized,
or damaged in any way will not be accepted for return. See more details per policy 14 day returns.

Packages without a return shipping authorization number or packages that were refused delivery at the customer’s address
will not be accepted for refund.

Refunds will be processed (typically within 30 days) via the same payment method you used to make the purchase.

For all credit card refunds, please allow one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear.

Unfortunately, if you return goods from a country other than the original delivery destination, it is not possible to refund tax or duty charges.

Please note that any returns sent using a process other than that advised by Cape Diamond Exchange will be at your own risk.


Payment Options Accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards, Mobicred,
by electronic bank transfer (EFT – Electronic Fund Transfer), or direct deposit into the Cape Diamond Exchange bank account Called
Tantino Trading (Pty) Ltd,
the details of which will be provided on request.

In case of direct deposit – the deposit slip needs to be emailed to info@capediamondexchange.com

Card Acquiring & Security
Card transactions will be acquired for Cape Diamond Exchange via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway
for all South African Acquiring Banks.
DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website.
Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer Details Separate from Card Details
Customer details will be stored by Cape Diamond Exchange separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s
secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

Merchant Outlet Country & Transaction Currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa.
Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility
Cape Diamond Exchange takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of Domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Cape Diamond Exchange chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi
for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Variation
Cape Diamond Exchange may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
